Susanna Risberg

Susanna Risberg is one of the most prominent Swedish jazz musicians of her generation.
The award winning guitarist and composer has, as well as toured the world with own
groups, performed with most of the biggest names on the Swedish jazz scene.
She has been described as a “sensational young Swedish guitarist” with an “unpredictable,
nuanced musicality” by Downbeat Magazine, and “an exciting guitarist who dares to plot
her own course” who is “truly worthy of inclusion in any discussion about important
contemporary jazz guitarists” by AllAboutJazz.
Her third album “Vilddjur” (released in 2018) broke new grounds for her internationally and
has been on heavy rotation on numeral American jazz radio stations as well as having
been well received by the press (Downbeat, Jazzwise, All About Jazz, to name a few).”
