Lost in the Supermarket is a modern jazz quartet based in Bologna (Italy). The idea behind the aesthetic of the project using the voice in an unusual way: the wind instrument. The soft and energetic lines let the melody flows through the complex harmonies of the compositions. Repertoire is rich in influences, actually tunes include typical jazz elements mixed with pop, rock, latin and fusion shades. The band, born in 2017, won the Special Prize of the Popular Jury during the Conad Jazz Contest 2018 sponsored by Umbria Jazz Festival. In February 2019 Lost in the Supermarket recorded his first album of originals released by Dodicilune Record Label. Recently the band share the stage with many important jazz masters, like famous italian guitarist Roberto Cecchetto. Besides, in August 2019 the group take part in the final round of Marsicovetere Jazz Contest and the vocalist, Anaïs del Sordo, won the Prize as Best Musician of the competition.
